For about a year between 2001 and 2002, Jerome Kugan asked friends and strangers to contribute poems, drawings and short stories so that he could publish them as a handmade photocopied half-A4 sized zine called Poetika.

In 2008, Jerome started asking for contributions again for a new version of Poetika, to be published annually.
